Terms of Use
Acceptance
By accessing or using the AIGC website, users agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms of Use. If a user does not agree, they should not rely on or use the website.
Purpose of the website
The website provides information about AIGC, its mission, activities, Council, working groups, publications, events and institutional engagement. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the website does not create a professional adviser-client relationship, partnership, agency, fiduciary relationship or contractual mandate between AIGC and a website user.
AIGC positions and individual views
Only content expressly identified as an approved AIGC position should be treated as representing AIGC institutionally. Working-group drafts, discussion materials and work in progress are not final AIGC positions. Publications, frameworks, services and opinions of individual participants remain those of their respective authors unless AIGC has expressly adopted them.
Permitted use
Users may access and refer to publicly available AIGC material for lawful personal, professional, educational and research purposes, subject to any copyright, licence or attribution notice attached to the material.
Prohibited use
Users must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its security or availability, impersonate AIGC or another person, falsely claim authority to represent AIGC, remove attribution or rights notices, or use AIGC branding in a misleading manner.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, website text, design elements, AIGC branding and institutional materials are owned by or licensed to AIGC. Third-party and member-authored materials remain subject to their own ownership and licence terms.
External links
The website may link to third-party websites, publications or services. AIGC does not control third-party content and inclusion of a link does not by itself constitute endorsement.
Availability and changes
AIGC may update, withdraw or restructure website content as its work develops. AIGC does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every item will remain permanently accessible.
Professional reliance
Material published by AIGC is intended primarily for information, research and policy dialogue. Users should obtain appropriate professional advice before relying on website material for legal, regulatory, financial, technical, medical or other consequential decisions.
Governing framework
The final published version should identify the law and jurisdiction governing these Terms consistently with the AIGC legal entity and any mandatory laws that apply to particular users or activities.
Contact
Questions about these Terms should be directed to the official AIGC contact listed in the Legal Notice.
